Our Journey, His Work: Family in July

The following weekend (July 16-19), Brooke headed out west for the weekend! This weekend had actually been planned for a few months for the purpose of starting the models (a discipleship tool that is an in depth study of God's Word) together but the timing could not have been more perfect (go GOD!) the actual weekend she was here.

Side note: Brooke is a JOY to my heart. Due to being family, we were a part of each other's lives everyday growing up. Over the last couple of years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside of her through discipleship and studying out God's Word (thank you SKYPE) and watching her practically apply it to her day to day life. His Word is changing who she is and the way she lives. She is not the person she was a couple of years ago and I am confident she will not be the same person two years from now as she continues pursuing Him and allowing His Spirit to rule and reign in her life day to day.

Today, by choice, we are the best of friends!

I bet I have taken 2,000 pictures of Jayden intently looking out at the dump trucks, tractors, etc. at the Crisp family business down below our house (we LOVE it).

Jasmine is another precious treasure in our lives! She is 16 years old and a junior in high school. She is A JEWEL people! Brooke and Jasmine met last year at the STATE XC meet in Kernersville, NC. God's timing was perfect in them both expressing their interest in desiring a more solid foundation of God's Word and further discipleship on practically applying His truth to their lives! We started the models that weekend and enjoyed LOTS of time eating, fellowshipping, and digging into THE BEST LOVE LETTER OF ALL TIME!
