*COOLer Weather*

Sunday 2 weeks ago, we were SHOCKED at the drop in temperature.  I realized once we arrived at church that we were clearly not dressed for the weather so when we got home - I broke out the jogging pants, hoodie, tobaggon and all for Jayden!

It was LOVELY!  The sun was shining bright but the air was CHILL.  It was perfect outdoor weather and a lovely afternoon of family time between church commitments!  Jayden was so thrilled he skipped his afternoon nap (which NEVER happens).

HELLO FALL, bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jayden LOVES...

  • ROCKS

  • CLIMBING (the horse fence in this case)

  • RUNNING UP HILLS

  • PEEKING AND LOOKING UNDER THINGS

  • PLAYING BALL

  • AND THROWING IT!

  • WATCHING THE BALL ROLL DOWN THE MOUNTAIN!

Celebrating seasons (hoodies, cool weather, leaves, and all) and the Lord's goodness and creativity each day!

*Evening Tractor/Wagon Rides*

We are in a 'busy season' of life right now so while we may not have large quantities of family free time - we are taking advantage of the pockets of time available here and there to ENJOY tractor rides, wagon rides, cool evening weather and time outside together.

*DATE NIGHT*

Rance and I went on our first official date night since Jayden was born a couple of weeks ago!  Of course we have had time alone together since he was born - but that was just hanging out at the house, etc.  Please don't feel sorry for us because we have had plenty of offers to keep Jayden for us to have a night out but we really just enjoy taking him everywhere with us so there is no real reason as to why we have not had a date night out before now.

Let me tell you though...

IT WAS WONDERFUL - such a BLESSING - such a sweet time of UNINTERRUPTED conversation with my husband - and a refreshing three hours of just the TWO OF US!

We even took selfies to document such a time as this :)

We had dinner out at Tapoco Lodge which is in Robbinsville.  I had never been there but was SO eager to go and it did not disappoint.  We didn't eat at their fancy restaurant just their grill and it was LOVELY!  The atmosphere is what is so nice.  It is peaceful, serene, and a beautiful outdoor area looking out at the creek.  The food was delicious too!

You know what was even more wonderful!??!  Being able to SIT another hour and drink coffee together after dinner.  OH MY WORD - what a treat!

I highly recommend hitting up this lodge if you are in the area!

So grateful for this night!
