*A Beautiful Mixture*

Our FIRST snow began on HALLOWEEN this year and continued into the next day - how crazy is that?!?!  Unfortunately, we missed the snow since we were in Kernersville, NC with the XC team at the STATE race BUT we were right where we needed to be! 

I cannot help but be in awe of the beautiful mixture of FALL and WINTER across these mountains and how it speaks volumes of our Father in heaven.  He certainly can get creative as He sits on His throne in heaven and constantly shows off His glory all around us because Father desires not only for ALL to come to know Him but that HE would be our ALL IN ALL - every single day!

How do we miss Him in the BIG and SMALL things each day?  I'm not sure about you, but I do NOT want to miss Him, His grace, His love, His sweet gifts, and those UNDENIABLE KISSES that He gives us each and every day.  After being challenged a while back and because I've what I am learning even now, I am constantly looking for Father in the everyday - in the detail - in the moments I use to miss Him.  Rance's pursuit of noticing Father in the everything is one of the BIGGEST things that attracted me to him in the very beginning but even he has been challenged in this area also over the last year.  This looking has given my heart an entirely new picture of being thankful and the JOY, oh the JOY that comes from a thankful heart.  I just might explode. 

So often I grab my camera just hoping to capture the beauty that the Father has painted and I have yet to be able to truly capture in a picture what I see.  So many times I laugh thinking that He must be like "Jennifer, my dear daughter, keep looking, keep trying, keep clicking but that camera cannot behold my GLORY!"
