Last Thursday, we headed to Kernersville, NC. Jayden and I ventured solo and we had a very successful road trip together. We sang, he slept, we ate, and we rolled on along together.

The next few days were full of team bonding, lots of laughs, many tears, tons of pasta/carb loading, dressing up for Halloween (oh wait, that was only 3 people), running, running and more running, and a sweet, sweet time together as a team.

One of my favorite parts of the trip was our mall trip on Halloween night and watching the million kids in the mall SO fascinated by SPIDER-MAN (aka FRANK)! Everyone wanted their picture with him and I loved how Frank did not care one bit about shopping or even eating but spending the hours we were there high fiving kids and taking tons of pictures with them. Yes, this blessed my heart!

Another sweet blessing on this trip was my mom, brother and cousin Brooke venturing to Kernersville to support Rance and the team in the STATE race. My mom kept Jayden at the hotel room since it was absolutely FREEZING, windy and rainy all day.
