*Winnie*

Weekend before last we were blessed to host Mrs. Fang Wang for the weekend which we called "Winnie" for short!  International Friendship Ministries (IFM) brings a group of Chinese students (either in school in Columbia, SC or doing research for the college) to Robbinsville, NC each year to visit and tour.  The church we attend in Robbinsville provides host homes to the group for the weekend and we were DELIGHTED to get to be a part of this (since the last several years we have been out of pocket due to Rance coaching cross country).  We had the wonderful opportunity to spend the weekend getting to know this group of Chinese students and gain an even more intimate relationship with Winnie. 

For me personally, I enjoyed learning more about the Chinese culture and asked LOTS of questions to Winnie as she did to us also.  I learned quickly that parenting is very different too!

We praise the Lord for our time with Winnie and pray for her as she pursues reading the Bible and getting to know more about Christianity.  We are thankful for every conversation we shared together.
