We usually get up and head to sunrise service at church; however, this year we did things a little differently. We spent the morning together as a family and headed to church for normal service times.
On a side note, I thoroughly enjoyed reading in the book of John from Palm Sunday through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday - walking through the events day by day and asking Father to help me be aware and alert to Him in new ways all week along. Jesus was so willingly obedient to the Father's will, fully trusting Him every step of the way, completely focused on bringing the Father glory. I want my everyday to be that willing, that obedient, that full of trust in Him, and that focused on His glory!
In the afternoon, we headed out for a hike with our best friends in Tasli to the Overlook. It was a beautiful day and the perfect hiking weather.

Selleck also joined us! He has been living with us for a couple of months and we are committed to helping him grow in his walk with the Lord!

Wyatt is thoroughly enjoying the view too! I can't begin to explain what you see when you walk to the edge. It would be a bad day if you slipped off. WE WERE SO HIGH UP!
