*EASTERN BOUND*

At the end of July, Rance, Jayden and I headed to Nahunta to spend some time with the family, hit up the BEACH, and introduce Jayden to family/friends!  We were gone 12 days and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

Side note:  We actually made it to Nahunta in RECORD time WITH a baby.  Now how is that?!?!  Jayden is a great passenger to say the least!

As you can imagine, Jayden was kissed on, loved on and overwhelmed with some Nahunta goodness!  My mom was in heaven :)

Out of the 6 days we were at the beach, it rained 4 of those days.  Let me elaborate - when I say rain - it was like a monsoon for 4 days!  I can honestly say the rain did not steal my JOY and we enjoyed much needed quality family time together indoors haha!

A few beach pictures:

Beach family FUN!

SO MUCH RAIN!

It would not be a beach trip without
BASKIN ROBBINS!

He loves him some Brooke

What else do you do when it rains?!  EAT & SHOP!

Yes, that's Rance swimming for a workout!

DOUBLE RAINBOW one evening!

lil LOTION fun :)

One afternoon we hit up the NC Acquarium at the beach!  Jayden slept through our entire afternoon outting.  The cute little fella has no idea where he goes half the time!

YES they played putt putt in the RAIN!

We wore him out :)

One of my FAVORITE parts of the trip is the time I got to spend with Brooke & Lauren.  We Skype weekly but seeing and being with them in person is OFF THE CHARTS in my book!  We basically saw them almost everyday while we were home whether meeting up for lunch, hanging out in the evenings, etc.

One person I did not get to spend enough time with while I was home was Mandy !  However, I am thankful for the time I did see her and Jayden too.  HE LOVED HER!!!

Of course there was time on the FARM and hanging out at the mill too...

Supporting CASE and JOHN DEERE!

Rance does a great job promoting FAMILY FUN considering my family works A LOT!  On a random Tuesday night, everyone quit work by 5:30 so we could bond at Rush Hour Karting in Garner, NC racing go-carts!!!  I am pretty sure this may become a family thing considering everyone became "MEMBERS" that night.

YES I got to see my newlywed BFF!

AND I got to see ROOZY!

FAVORITES!!!

It was definitely hard leaving after being there so long but we are so grateful for being able to spend as much time as we did with the family and look forward to next time!

Yes we were POOPED on our drive home :)
