- Due to the fact that Jayden does not cooperate during ultrasounds, we have had SEVERAL and I have considered each one a blessing! We have officially had ultrasounds at 16 weeks (sneak-peak), 20 weeks, 24 weeks, 28 weeks, and 30 weeks (3D).
- Rance and I had no intentions of getting a 3D ultrasound until we were blessed with not paying $100 for it! At this visit on April 1st - I was pretty convinced that Jayden would probably NOT show his face at this appointment either. We saw a glimpse (side view) of his face at the 28 week ultrasound and there was NO doubt he had some chubby cheeks! During the 3D ultrasound, Jessica and Rance poked at my belly more than you can imagine because as we suspected, Jayden was covering his face with his hand as usual. After several pokes, he so kindly revealed his face for a minute and we saw both chubby cheeks. It's hard to tell who he looks like but it seems all in all - he is going to look like Rance. His feet/toes and legs look like Rance's too! We have several pics but here are a few...

- One sweet, sweet moment during the 3D ultrasound was when we were able to see his face and within seconds he held a thumbs up at us. Now, most people would NOT appreciate this but this was a complete God wink because when I met Rance - EVERY single picture we took together in the beginning - he wanted to hold a thumbs up and his family warned me of this and encouraged me to break him of this! Apparently this had been a part of his every picture for years. The fact that Jayden so clearly held his thumbs up at us - well, we laughed until we hurt! Then, Jayden apparently decided he had had enough and flipped his entire body over so all we could see was his back/spine and the back of his head face down. Stubborn little fella, let me tell ya!

- The last 3 weeks have been quite entertaining because Jayden moves SO much. He clearly responds to loud noises, Pastor Noah's preaching, praise & worship songs, and his daddy poking/talking to him. Rance will poke him a couple of times and he'll poke back. I find myself talking to him constantly and staring at my stomach is so amusing as he rolls around, sticks his butt out, and shifts from one side of my stomach to another. It's hard to describe a human rolling around inside of you but this is my favorite part.
- I have a very distinct cross that has formed on my belly also. I'd love to take a picture and show it to you but that's not going to happen so you are going to have to trust me. The line goes through the center of my belly and the top of the cross is above my belly button. The first time I noticed it, it was a sweet reminder of the meaning of Jayden's name all over again - how God hears - all the time - I'd be okay if it never went away as it is a sweet reminder of the gospel, Jesus and the abundant life every single day?!
- I would love to say that I'm never nauseas and feel amazing all the time but my nausea likes to stick around and my heartburn is outrageous!
- On another note, Jayden is SUPER, SUPER low so I've wondered the last few weeks if he was going to just fall out.
- Rance is convinced that Jayden will be arriving before his June 7th due date. He even mentions May 25th as his arrival time. I was told by a friend back home that if you count 9 full moons from the date the baby was conceived that you will have your baby within a week of the 9th full mean (before or after). I thought it'd be interesting to see what that date was and the 9th full moon is on May 14th! Now that is CRAZY my friend.
I am officially 33 weeks and 2 days today.....this mess is getting REAL!
