Since cross country season, we have been going through the book of Ephesians with a group of teenagers on Sunday mornings at 8 am! We eat breakfast together, catch up on our weeks, drink some coffee, and study through the Word. A couple of weeks ago, one of the girls (Jasmine) told us that the group would like to cook us breakfast the next Sunday morning we met and honestly, it meant SO much! What is even cooler is they ended up cooking us an AMAZING breakfast on Rance's birthday because that was the next Sunday that we met. They went above and beyond with chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, eggs, muffins, gravy & biscuits, chocolate milk, orange juice, and the list goes on. They all met at the church early and cooked together and boy did we feel SPOILED and BLESSED!

Sunday morning FUN! |
After church, we were getting in the truck to head home before a slew of people began showing up for some cornhole action that afternoon at the house - when MY PARENTS DROVE UP IN THE CHURCH PARKING LOT. We were shocked to say the least. My daddy said he could not miss Rance's birthday so he drove 12 hours (roundtrip) for an afternoon of cornhole and an evening with us only to drive back home the following morning departing at 6am. YES, crazy! It was such a fun surprise & blessing.

Aunt Gin gave Rance this picture of him & Uncle Charlie for his birthday and Rance was sharing what this fishing trip meant to him. Uncle Charlie passed away in the summer last year. |
