The leaves are changing, the colors are vibrant, the temperature is cooling down, and the wardrobe is changing! I remember years and years ago when I was not captivated by nature and days would go by that I did not even notice what was going on around me. The real issue being I was not captivated by God. That is not the case anymore. I am in awe, blown away, and completely astounded by my Father, the Creator of the Universe. I told Rance a few weeks ago "I refuse to let a day go by without thanking God for the beauty that surrounds me." Why? NOT because I worship creation, but the CREATOR! I do not want to miss HIM in everything. God is glorious. God is captivating.
I stole this picture from a beautiful, Jesus lovin' gal I go to church with because I LOVE IT! Yes, it is Robbinsville pictured below and you can get a sneak peak of those leaves changing :) This was a couple of weeks ago, so you can imagine how much it has changed since then.
And a few FALL flowers in our yard!
Psalm 19:1-6The first six verses of Psalm 19 testify to the revelation of God through His creation:
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat.Soak on it friends. Have a GLORIOUS day!
