Saturday, We journey back to where we met!

July, 10, 2009:  Rance and I met in Trinidad (it's the southern most Caribbean island, 7 miles off the coast of Venezuela).  This is our very first picture together on the night we met.  I had no idea when this picture was taken that I would later call the guy pictured below my husband.  (This picture was actually taken for YOU Helen Archer!)

June 27th, 2010:  Just ONE year later, Rance and I returned to Trinidad, but together this time, and ENGAGED.  How crazy is God's plan???  (And yes, that is SWEAT all over my face!  It's HOT there people and no AC!).

June 25th, 2011:  Saturday, Rance and I will head back to Trinidad, but this time, as HUSBAND & WIFE!  Thank you JESUS for blessing me far beyond my wildest dreams and for crossing our paths in July 2009!

Let me just share a little bit of what Rance and I have been up to lately...


Bible study at our house weekly with the coolest teenagers - several are missing in this picture!  And yes, Desta (whom is obviously NOT a teen in the picture below) comes to our weekly bible study also :)  She oughta be a preacher by the time she is a teenager hehe!

I want a kid just like Desta...

Graduation Weekend!  I can't believe our kids are now college freshman!

This picture brings me such JOY because we shipped the book "So You Want To Be Like Christ" to Trinidad and we are taking this group of ladies (and men not pictured haha) through this book while we are there NEXT week.  Aren't they beautiful?
